I really like the coloring of the third picture onwards. No idea why. I just like it…
Nana next to Nani in a car in the tunnel

June 20, 2008 at 1:05 pm | In Misc Norway | Leave a CommentI’m not sure whether it is the longest tunnel in the world. Lets stick to the title they do claim of having; as being told by our tour guide during the Fjordsafari.
After getting our groceries with still plenty of time at hand, we decided to find the Longest Tunnel in Europe. After all, we’re already in Norway and we’re quite near it. Also, we weren’t sure if we’ll be taking that route back to Oslo (we did, by the way. And I fell asleep while we’re halfway through the tunnel… Didn’t impress me already then
), they decided to go for it. OK the change from we to they is due to my tiredness then; I didn’t really take part in the decision making since mine was plain in my face; I was tired. No idea why I was so bloody tired though. Hmmm…
The tunnel is 24.5km long and is well ventilated. It is also ridiculously cold in there!!
They also had places for us to stop by… And stop by we did… And we took silly pictures. Well, K was the head poser, as usual
However, his pictures are not in my camera. Hahaha
They had 3 of these actually. Another one in green, below. We didn’t bother at the third. I think it was more purple than blue… Still, no picture to let you decide though.

It ended up raining
June 20, 2008 at 12:51 pm | In Flam | Leave a CommentWe planned to take the Flamsbana, a train that goes up from the town Flam to enjoy the view. However, it started raining, so we decided we’ll have a go at it the next day before we went back to Oslo. So we had plenty of time in hand. We decided to find a place to buy groceries… And I saw this!!!
Adorable, isn’t it? Hehe. We shopped at a Shell station, which was the nearest place open on a Sunday. Here’s a view from the station:
Very gray, but still beautiful, in my opinion. Norway is just a great place to start loving photography. It makes everything soooo much easier.
Waterfalls
June 20, 2008 at 3:30 am | In Fjordsafari | Leave a CommentDo look at the pictures carefully and try to figure out where some of the waterfall starts. I find it quite fun, both in real life and thru the pictures
First view:
Nearer…
Near!!!
Just the bottom part of the waterfall…
We took pictures at this waterfall
Now lets continue with the other waterfall…
This is the another view of the previous waterfall:
It’s really interesting to see where it begins and where it actually ends up…
The last one is really interesting. They somehow manage to build the road across the waterfall!!
Me with a very good looking bloke ;)

June 20, 2008 at 3:01 am | In Fjordsafari | Leave a CommentI’m not really sure… I lumped all the pictures of waterfalls in a folder. I’m going to post all of them together. However, these waterfalls (I think there were two) looked too frozen to be considered water… and we didn’t get close enough for me to be able to decide whether they were waterfalls or a path of a former waterfall. *shrugs* You decide for yourself
