Blue skies
June 18, 2008 at 3:16 am | In Flam | Leave a CommentI ended the day with a picture of their blue skies.
I think there’ll be a long gap before the next post. I took a lot of repetitive pictures on the 3rd day on the Fjordsafari, trying to get the best pictures and not deleting it straight away. So going through that would be a horror. I also need to settle quite a few things on my Prague and Amsterdam trip with my mom
I’m excited over that!! I’ve no idea how to break it to her that I got a new camera though. Any ideas?
Edit: I took 600 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) pictures on my 3rd day. It’ll definitely be a long break!!
Disappointed

You’re not being environmentally friendly enough!!!!!!
What’s so hard with shutting down the computer when no one is using anyway? Even unenvironmentally friendly Faliq shuts down his laptop when he goes to bed!!
Lame attempt
June 18, 2008 at 3:04 am | In Flam | Leave a CommentOf pretending to commit suicide. The actual picture is in Azri’s camera, if I’m not mistaken. I wanted to take picture of them posing with Azri taking the picture; showing what a sham it is. However, Azri went too far back, so I couldn’t include him.
Explains why the picture looks rather silly on my angle and why K wasn’t looking at my camera
The sun was still up
June 18, 2008 at 2:56 am | In Flam | Leave a CommentSo even though I was dead tired (I can only speak for myself) even though I slept and didn’t drive… They have too much energy, Nana, Azri and K. Seriously!!! Anyway, even though I was tired, we decided, since the sun was still up, why not do some exploring. We went to Flam, the “town centre”??? Well, the port. To see things.
We took this on our 4th day before we went back to Oslo:
Sheeeeeepppp!!!!!!
June 18, 2008 at 2:30 am | In Animals, Road trip | Leave a CommentAnyone who bothers going through the pictures I post on facebook knows that I love sheep. Ironically, I started liking them in Dublin. Can’t get less city-like than that!! A capital, for goodness sake!! Okay maybe a bigger capital, but don’t bust the ego of them Irish. They’re very proud people; or at least in my experience (imagine having your tutor just refusing to admit he was amongst the “us” when your seminar mate was talking about the British. That girl was one clueless chick. I found it hilarious). Regardless, yes… after that I went to the most… kampung place you can imagine; Durham. Maybe that was really when I started going nuts over sheep, when I was looking at my souvenirs for my friends from Ireland; I did not get them leprechaun–which would have been more unique–but sheep. Sheep!! Amni, how is Irina Friedmann? Double or single N? I can’t remember…
They just looked so cute!! And it made less sense to get them bears with shamrocks on their stomachs anyway!! Somehow I just realized, put shamrock on literally anything and it’ll be Irish (now that suddenly reminds me of a senior’s statement; put Guinness in any kind of food and it’ll be an Irish dish, even if you can’t imagine an Irish consuming it. Rendang was his choice. I thought of sambal belacan. Hahaha). Anyway, yes, sheep. I suppose the “obsession” built while I was on the train down to York, when I saw so many sheep farms!! Amagad!! And when I went to Lake District. Seriously, I never realized there were so many sheep in England!!
Imagine how wonderful it was when I woke up and realize we’re a bit lost and needed to ask for instructions. They decided to stop by at… I wouldn’t call it sheep farm though, but they did own quite a number of sheep!!! Hahaha.
I like the 6th picture best!!
